House rules for this site and the work

PixelScape Animation is a brand division of Aivion Studios, based in the Netherlands. The maker is Michael Braam. For assignments, questions or collaboration: mail@aivionstudios.nl.

All content on this site, including comics, characters (such as Mikey and Zoey), illustrations, animations, text, design and code, is created by or on behalf of Aivion Studios and is protected by copyright and, where applicable, trademark law.

Personal, non-commercial use (such as sharing a comic on social media with credit and a link back) is welcome. Commercial use, republication, print, merchandise, training of AI models or inclusion in datasets is not allowed without prior written permission.

Much of the visual work on PixelScape Animation is created with the help of AI tools. The ideas, prompts, direction, selection, editing and post-processing are human work. The final result is claimed by Aivion Studios as original work within the limits the law allows.

Characters such as Mikey are original IP. They may not be replicated, further developed or commercially used without permission, including by AI models or fan merchandise.

Quotes are without obligation and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. When an assignment is agreed:

• A 30% deposit is due at the start, the remainder upon delivery.
• Ownership of the work transfers after full payment.
• Feedback rounds are agreed in advance; additional rounds or scope changes may be invoiced separately.
• On cancellation by the client, work already performed is invoiced.
• Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, unless execution started earlier with consent.

I do my best to deliver creative work of a high standard, but give no guarantees about specific commercial success, AI stability or flawless results. Aivion Studios is not liable for indirect damages (including lost profit, missed opportunities or reputational damage). Total liability is in all cases limited to the invoice amount of the relevant assignment.

Not satisfied with delivered work or communication? Email your complaint within 14 days of delivery to mail@aivionstudios.nl with a clear description. We try to resolve it together first before any further steps.

Dutch law applies to these terms, to use of this site and to any assignments. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the district where Aivion Studios is established, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

These terms may be updated. The last update date is shown at the bottom. For ongoing assignments, the terms that applied at the time of agreement remain in force.
